AI Product Updates: New Features and Releases

Exa launched Snapshot in research preview, an index of over 400 billion historical webpage snapshots that lets Search and Contents return the web as it was on a given date, for RL leakage prevention, backtesting and exploring the pre-AI web.

Sim Search launches, letting agents use your account credentials to build an agentic knowledge graph for high-context work.

The feature is available today for Pro and Max users who already run cloud sessions and haven't used Claude Projects, with existing Projects users migrated slightly later.

Claude threads now run in the cloud so they keep going when your computer is offline, with support for local workflows coming soon.

Claude Code Projects, in beta on desktop and web, has one conversation split work into parallel cloud sessions and branches, passing context and continuing when you leave, with Pro/Max expanding this week.

Chris Raroque released Moonjar, an MCP-driven, agent-first screenshot app for Mac with no traditional buttons that uses existing Claude or Codex subscriptions and supports multi-device composites and annotations via natural language; early access is open at moonjar.ai.

Existing Projects on Pro and Max plans are unaffected for now and will be upgraded as the rollout expands across Claude; users can join a waitlist for earlier access.

A Project accumulates over time: every thread adds to and draws from shared memory, so Claude can remember context like a release moving to Friday or who to ask before touching the billing service, and the project library keeps added and Claude-created files.

Users can brief Claude with several things at once in any order, and it routes requests to new or existing threads and checks in when it needs input; the Overview panel shows what is waiting on the user, and any thread can be steered even from a phone.

Claude launched a Projects cloud-session beta where you describe a task and Claude runs parallel threads that keep working after you close your laptop, starting with select Pro and Max users.

Sim, an open-source AI agent workspace for teams, launched Search, which connects Drive, Gmail, Slack, GitHub and other sources using each member's credentials and exposes permission-aware search to agents via a Home assistant and Search MCP.

Opal launched Opal Zero, which scopes an agent's access per task in real time across MCP gateways, removing standing access and approval bottlenecks.
