Jev sells per-lookup data to agents that compare vendor prices
A video shows Jev having agents compare prices across Prospeo, Icypeas and Crustdata on every lookup, while a Jev enum gate constrains which answers can be returned.
Clay sold seats to humans. Jev sells single lookups to agents, and the agent shops around on each one. The video shows the vendors behind it: Prospeo $0.0245, Icypeas $0.00838, Crustdata $0.006 per result. Data companies now serve customers who don't sleep, don't negotiate, switch vendors mid-invoice. When three sources price the same fact 4x apart, the fact turns into a commodity and the margin goes to whoever routes. One cost stays off that chart. 1M lookups at $0.0089 is $8,900. A 5% miss rate on those is 50,000 confident emails to the wrong person. Same rule as the Jev enum gate we covered last week: trust the router once you can read the list of answers it's allowed to return. The price per lead has no column for the wrong person.
