Meta Muse logo reportedly priced at ~$12.5k, sparking pricing debate
A Wired interview says the designer charged about $12.5k for a two-day sprint on the Meta Muse logo, prompting debate over how company scale, attribution and backlash risk should factor into pricing.

just read the Wired interview where Jessica shares what she charged for the Meta Muse logo: ~$12.5k for a two-day sprint. for the two days, that's a great fee. but time is only part of it. how do you price in: – the scale of the company using it – your name being attached to it – the backlash risk, especially if you have an online following (and she did receive disproportionate backlash!) honestly, i don't know the answer. i keep going back and forth on whether that amount is too little, too much, or just right for a project like this? curious what others think
