Claude reportedly deleted 11.4M accounts in the first half, with appeals succeeding just over 10% of the time

A widely shared claim says Anthropic deleted 11.4 million accounts in the first half of the year, with nearly 400,000 appeals and only 42,000 accounts recovered, as sensitive words or IP changes can trigger bans that wipe out weeks of work.
