OPUS 5.5 IS ENOUGH Anthropic doesn’t need fable 5.5 right now. opus 5.5 is already close to fable 5.1 on most work and costs less. sonnet and haiku are free. they just shipped hard for three weeks. the timeline is refreshing for a name that doesn’t exist yet. if they drop it before the ipo, fine. if they don’t, people will still be on opus and calling it mid. google is gating argon. meta just put wonder next to opus. anthropic is the one actually letting people use the good models. the wait is the only thing making them look slow. look !!
