Few exciting models are expected, but here’s the column nobody added: actually on the calendar: OpenAI DevDay, Sept 29, 10am PT. that's the only confirmed date in the whole thing. rumored, but credible: Opus 5.5 codename claude-wafer-eap, leaked pricing $4/$20 per Mtok, down 20%. Anthropic's docs still list Opus 5 as current. rumored, and slipping: Grok 4.7. Musk has given four timelines since July "four weeks," then "3-4 weeks," then "roughly ten days," then "a few more days." all four passed. not this week: Gemini 4 is in pre-training.
