Space: open-source shared memory workspace for agents via MCP

Space is an open-source workspace where Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents share memory, docs and tasks over one MCP connection, self-hostable.

For the past couple of months, I've been building Space. It started with a small, daily frustration. I plan in ChatGPT, build with Claude Code, and run automations with Hermes on a server. None of them share what they know, so I kept pasting the same context from one to the next. And when a plan changed, the copies didn't. Space is one shared workspace for you and your agents. Your plans, docs and tasks live right next to everything your agents remember. You open it in the browser, your agents reach it over MCP, on any machine. Here's what it does: - Shared memory across agents. Decisions, preferences and context, each saved with who saved it and where it came from. What Claude Code learns on your laptop, Hermes can use on your server. - A real workspace. Documents that keep every revision, tasks on a board, and databases for whatever you track. - You stay in charge. Agents wait on your Home page when they need a decision, and you can read, correct or delete anything they saved. - Connect once. One MCP connection per machine. Pick read or write access, link servers with a six-digit code, revoke anytime. - Private by default. Memory is encrypted before it's stored, and search runs on an index, so finding one memory never decrypts your whole Space. - Open source. Want it on your own server? The self-hosted edition is AGPL and runs on one VPS with Docker: http://github.com/Hugo-SEQUIER/getspace Tested with Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Cline. This week I'll post one short film a day, each on one part of Space. Today, the whole story in 80 seconds. Stop re-explaining yourself to your agents. http://getspace.sh
