Critic says OpenAI leans on Astra and Sol names to chase Anthropic
A critical post argues OpenAI has only ever caught up to Anthropic and never surpassed it, and that Anthropic did not need flashy names like Astra or Sol to show it has a good model.
OpenAI is currently easily losing in front of Anthropic and this is not new.. If you see they have always only caught up to Anthropic and never actually surpassed them in any mean.. When was the last time that you saw an OpenAI model and said that it's so good that I am going to just use this.. It probably only happens for 2 days and Anthropic always smashes them.. Anthropic didn't need crazy names like Astra or Sol to tell that they have a good model.. They literally made their best model available under a Point release ... It tells you that which lab is winning right now.. I hope someday OpenAI makes a good model that people need to catch up to.
