Claude Opus 5.5 spent $15.14 on one cherry tree. Gemini 4 Argon did it for ~$0.20. Both got the same prompt: A real 3D scene where one cherry tree goes from snow to blossom, cherries, falling leaves and back to snow, a whole year in 16 seconds. Opus ran as an agent and spent 1h 50m checking its own frames. Gemini wrote it in one pass. Opus cost 75x more. Its version has painted leaves, petals blowing across the meadow and robins pecking at the cherries. Gemini’s leaves look like jelly beans
