Muse can send emails and book trips on its own, one observer notes
The author focuses on Meta's Muse, which can take a goal and act on it by sending emails, booking travel and managing tasks across apps, rather than just chatting.
Muse is getting interesting very quickly. I’m less interested in another “new model” announcement and more interested in what Meta is actually trying to build with Muse. The new Muse personal agent can take a goal and actually act on it send emails, book travel, manage tasks, work across apps, and keep working without needing every step spelled out. That’s a very different product from a chatbot. And the timing is interesting: Muse Spark 1.3 is already being pushed toward longer-horizon agentic work, with Meta reporting fewer tool calls and fewer tokens needed for coding workflows. I think this is the part of AI I’m watching most closely now: The race isn’t just to build smarter models. It’s to build AI that can actually take things off my plate. If Meta gets Muse right, this could be a much bigger deal than another benchmark score.
