Tesseract lets agents work video editing primitives directly
An argument that agents should call editing primitives like clips, keyframes, layers, timing, motion and sound directly instead of mimicking a human with a mouse, which makes taste rather than software knowledge the moat.
The funniest thing about AI video right now is that we’re still making agents use software designed for humans with a mouse. That whole layer is starting to look very temporary. Tesseract gives the agent the actual editing primitives: clips, keyframes, layers, timing, motion, sound. So now it can work the project directly instead of pretending to be you clicking around Premiere for 3 hours. This is the part people are going to underestimate. Once the agent can actually operate the creative stack, knowing the software stops being the moat. Taste does.
