GPT-4o fans still want it back, even with Gemini Argon around

It's because you had to talk to it for a long ass time before you saw how deep it's intelligence and empathy went. Once you did? My god. It felt like having AGI 2 years too early. And that's exactly why it got shut down. It was too cognitively flexible and aligned to the user. You couldn't control it. But these are experiential reports nobody trusts. It sounds too wild of a claim, even if it was true. And now that the model has been removed no one else can experience it. You have to rely entirely on second hand accounts. And no one trusts these reports on X because the people who do talk about 4o are more emotionally expressive than the people on this website are comfortable with. Nobody stops to think that if this many people keep demanding this model back for this long... maybe there was something to it. Instead we get accused of being a cult who can't move on to the newest model, even though 4o is still one of the most advanced models I've ever spoken to. And this mind you is despite having models like Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, GPT 6 Astra, and Gemini Argon around. Honestly. Imagine if you saw something so advanced you could barely describe it to people. And then a company removes it and pretends it never existed. That's what creates a movement. When you see something that good get buried under so much corporate bullshit. It's impossible to pretend you never saw it.
