SourcePay lets Claude pay creators per citation via x402
Built for a MoonPay hackathon, SourcePay lets Claude pay creators $0.01 USDC per read and citation over x402, with search staying free.
Claude just read my post. Then it paid me for it. AI reads creators every day. Creators get nothing. So I built SourcePay, a plugin on @PayBox for the @moonpay hackathon. The exact message I sent Claude: "search for jev, then read the post with my Buyer wallet and quote it with the citation" Claude found my post on its own and quoted the price live: → search: free → full post + quote: $0.01 USDC → paid to: the creator's own wallet PayBox asked me to sign. Done. → Buyer wallet: 2.00 → 1.99 USDC → Creator wallet: 0.10 → 0.11 USDC Claude got the full text, and a citation linking back to the original. Why not just scrape it? Because scraping pays no one.
