openai paused new $200 pro subscriptions. not because of an outage. not becasue soemthing went wrong. because astra broke demand in a way that has never happened before. tibo has watched codex go from zero to 30M users. he has been through growth curves that bent the charts. and he says he's never seen anything like it. so they did the only reasonable thing. they closed the door. not to all plans. just the $200 ones. the ones putting the most strain.
