Speculation on Meta Muse connecting to Zeta marketing data
The author speculates that if Meta Muse connected to Zeta's read-only MCP, it could query customer profiles and KPIs without touching raw data, becoming a cross-ecosystem activation layer.
The more I think about a potential $META Muse X $ZETA integration, the more reasonable of a fit it becomes in my mind. Let's look at the facts: Zeta has been focused on large enterprise as they have larger marketing budgets leaving an untapped opportunity for smaller businesses. Meta serves both SMBs and large enterprises. Zeta has built an agent-agnostic MCP currently in beta and Meta Muse just opened to third-party connectors. As of right now, Zeta's Athena MCP is explicitly read-only and is essentially a ZMP intelligence interface for external AI agents. That means an agent like Muse could potentially access Zeta's intelligence without accessing the underlying raw data. It can query data like customer demographics, psychographics, transactions, visitation, reachability, audience insights, KPIs, trends and breakdowns. I would imagine in the future functionality could extend into activation which would give Meta Muse an agnostic activation layer beyond the Meta ecosystem. This is all just speculation, but logically I can see how the pieces would fit.
