Codex Cloud rebuilt from scratch as Codex trio nears completion
An OpenAI engineer says Codex Connectors, Codex Remote and a from-scratch rebuild of Codex Cloud have shipped, letting Codex run without a local machine.
Today is a big day, the pinnacle of my career so far. This year, I shipped Codex Connectors, giving Codex ways to interact with the world. Then I worked on Codex Remote, so you could keep working on the go. And finally, we rebuilt Codex Cloud from scratch to free you from your laptop completely. There’s still a lot to build, but the team has been cooking nonstop for the last 45 days to put the foundation in place and get us this far. I’m incredibly excited for everything that comes next. Today is liberation day!
