Google’s Opus 5.5 counter Gemini 4 Carbon? business Insider reported Google employees are testing an internal Gemini 4 checkpoint called Carbon on Jetski..... one said it feels like Opus 5.5 for coding google has already tested Gemini 4 variants internally named Argon, Barium and Carbon and people are treating Carbon as the likely next step after Argon.. possibly stronger on coding if Google can really deliver something as good as Opus 5.5... the boards are about to get messy
