Early tester reviews Gemini 4 Argon: 3D, frontend and 1M output tokens
A developer with early access says Argon shows clear gains in 3D, coding and frontend motion, supports up to 1 million output tokens, and needs proper design skills to shine.
Gemini 4 Argon is a really good model in many aspects. Glad I got early access to test it across pretty much everything. Here are my thoughts: 3D: A lot better than previous models. Coding: Pretty solid from what I've tested. I've seen some really cool demos, and I don't think it's as benchmaxxed as people assume. Frontend & Motion: Argon is now good enough to compete with Claude, and considering its pricing, I'd say it's an even better choice. Still room for improvement though. Token Output: Argon supports up to 1 million output tokens, which is actually insane. Now, about design... I've seen many people just prompt Argon, get bad designs, and conclude it's not good at design. But trust me, try using proper design skills with Argon, and you'll be surprised by what it can do. And yes, the Google team is already working on improving Argon's design skills, and they're seeing some promising results! Overall, huge congrats to @GoogleDeepMind on the launch! 🎉 Really solid release from Google. And thanks to the team for letting me test it early! ❤️
