Coder uses Jev to pass context upfront and cut Claude Code costs
OpenAgents' Coder uses Jev to supply needed context in advance, limits Claude's tools, and rewrites its prompt, running faster and cheaper at the same or better quality.

Yesterday I learned Claude Code's system prompt has a full paragraph about respecting the user's pronouns A small percentage of your paid usage to Anthropic pays for that paragraph EVERY time you start a session with Claude Code It's possible though not easy to customize that prompt unless you use a super-harness like @OpenAgentsInc Coder We've found a way with Coder to constrain Claude's actions and idiocy by limiting its tools and rewriting its prompt while preserving quality by passing needed context upfront with Jev. So far Coder is both faster and cheaper at the same or better quality, with lots of room for improvement. For the first time, the big labs seem uniquely vulnerable. They repeatedly doubled down, pouring billions of dollars on a path dependency that is now obsolete; and so are now out of position, off balance, and are one strong leg sweep away from getting knocked on their ass.
