Developer builds an MCP for their app with Grok Bot
A developer spent a month building an app with Grok Bot and Cursor, having the bot write its own MCP and a dedicated bot that auto-links via Apple login so users can add shopping items by voice.
It took 1 month to build & polish this app with Grok Bot + Cursor. I wanted to connect Grok Bot to my app but I didn’t know how to. I asked Grok Bot to find a way to connect to my app. I wanted to make the process easy and simple for users because the whole purpose of this app was to make people’s life easy and convenient. I didn’t want users to hassle through process to connect bot. Bot created its own MCP, then created dedicated ‘There Lists’ Bot. Once the user downloads the bot, it will automatically ask for Apple login and connect to the app. How did I know the process? Grok Bot brought me the idea and it built everything. I can now tell my Bot I am craving for cream pasta for dinner, it will add the ingredients to the app and it will ping when I get to the store.
