User worries Gemini 4 Argon will repeat Gemini 3.5 Pro's no-show
Recalling that Google tested Gemini 3.5 Pro with partners but skipped straight to Gemini 4, the poster notes Argon was announced on September 30 as coming soon and hopes it ships rather than becoming another 3.5.

Google's "coming soon" has a history Gemini 3.5 Pro was testing with partners and never shipped. Google skipped it and went straight to Gemini 4. Before Argon, google went more than seven months without a new flagship after gemini 3.1 pro Now argon was announced on sep 30 as rolling out soon and the latest update is Logan saying "Argon is coming, fear not :)" I want Argon to be great. I'd just like to see it ship before it turns into another 3.5
