Anthropic is about to ship Fable 5.5 OpenAI has a habit of dropping something big right when anthropic gets the spotlight so I'd be surprised if they don't have a reply ready. GPT-6.1 Astra (or any upcoming better model) can't just be "slightly better than Astra". because the folks who left for claude this month aren't coming back for a small benchmark win. I really hope openai goes big this time.They are at their best when they are behind and have something to prove.
