Trusting Meta Muse over a startup agent with sensitive data
The author, testing Instinct for research, says they would rather give sensitive credentials and personal data to Meta's Muse than to a startup because they trust hyperscaler security more, and asks whether that is bias.
I've been trying out Instinct AI for research purposes, and one thing that bugs me is trusting it with my data. I have a much harder time giving a startup access to sensitive credentials and personal data than I would giving that same access to something like Muse from $META. Maybe it's irrational, but I just trust the security infrastructure of a hyperscaler more. For some reason, the $META haters here are insanely vocal, but when it comes to something as sensitive as an AI agent accessing my data, I'd rather trust Meta than a startup. Am I wrong to feel that way?
