Heron AI: a code-compliance assistant with an architectural drawing look

An Awwwards Honors nominee site for Heron AI, built by architects, that uses a paper-toned cream background, structural line drawings and monospace type to present the BIM/Revit tool like a technical manual.

Quick favour to ask. A site we built for Heron AI is nominated for Best Website in Business & Services at the @awwwards Honors. It's a community vote, so I'm doing something I normally avoid: asking for votes. Some background. Heron AI is built by architects. It sits inside your design tools, watches your model as you work, flags problems and fixes them once you say yes. That's a hard product to explain. And architects are a tough crowd. They can spot a fake render from across the room. So we didn't go for the usual AI look. No purple gradients, no glowing orbs. Just orange, charcoal, and a story that follows how architects actually work: the model, the problem, the fix. Story first, effects second. It worked better than we hoped. Site of the Day on Awwwards, FWA and CSS Design Awards. The Honors would be a nice way to cap it off. Here's the catch: only existing Awwwards accounts can vote. Accounts made now won't count. 👉 If you're on Awwwards: http://awwwards.com/sites/heron-ai, log in, click "Vote for Awwwards Honors". 👉 If you're not: a forward to a designer or dev friend who is would mean a lot. And if you've got a product that's hard to explain, that's my favourite kind of problem. DMs are open.
