YouTuber describes losing job and two channels to policy bans
A creator recounts four months of AI story channels, losing a job, and having two near-monetization channels rejected and then suspended on appeal.

4 months ago I started doing YouTube. I had never done anything with it before, I just kept seeing people make crazy money from it and thought ok, I can do that too. Spent way too much on courses and started AI story channels at the same time, tried wild west, romance, inheritance stories. Between the courses and the calls with my mentors I slowly started to understand how the game works. At first I couldn't even get a channel to get impressions because I made so many stupid mistakes. Deleting test videos, uploading really bad thumbnails and videos, doing 20, 40 and 60 minute videos on the same channel, making a separate JSON file for every single video... looking back it's kinda funny After the first month I lost my job. Instead of looking for another one I decided to go all in on YouTube. Eventually I got 2 channels close to monetization and both got rejected for breaking YT policies. Appealed, and both got suspended instead lol Tried a few more channels after that. 10 videos on each, maybe 100 realtime views total across all of them. Honestly it was a rough period. No job, no money coming in, and I was still paying for all the subscriptions. I was just grinding out of frustration at that point, so in August I took a break. After the break I had exactly 50€ left to work with. Put it into Claude and voiceovers, stopped doing faceless stuff and started an avatar channel in a niche I actually know really well and care about. 20 days later I got my first sale and the channel is ready for monetization. And for the first time I actually enjoy watching my own videos. Still early, but I'll keep posting how it goes.
