X Ultra subscription after a few days: Grok Bot shines, models lag
A user says Ultra limits are very generous even with many bots running routines every 10 minutes, but Grok models are far weaker than Claude or GPT and third-party models were removed from Cursor in the subscription.
I subscribed to the X Ultra plan. Heres my opinion after a few days of using, it, especially in Grok Bot: - limits are insanely good, im using it basically all the time (because of routines and checks every 10 mins with many bots) and its running out VERY slowly - only bad thing about it - grok. the models are very weak, not even comparable with claude or gpt, and they removed 3rd party models from cursor in the subscription - i love Grok Bot, i could pay 50usd a month just for it. its so useful, every tiring work i had to do before? now i have a bot for it Worth it only if you’re sure you will use Grok Bot a lot, otherwise just get 8 or 30 usd tier. Though if Grok 4.8/5 is any good, comparable to Fable 5.1/Opus 5.5 this will be the sub with most insane value for sure.
