Codex source analysis: when Astra gets downgraded to GPT-5.5
The author says Codex's server-side routing switches Astra to gpt-5.5 and turns off reasoning when a safety flag or server overload occurs, so updating Codex may not mean you're actually using Astra.

专门分析了下 codex 最近改动的源码，OpenAI 的降智机制大概是： 请求先过服务端路由层，被安全标记（codex 侧 reroute 原因是 HighRiskCyberActivity）或服务端容量超载（server_overloaded）时，astra 会被切到 gpt-5.5，reasoning 同时被关掉。 也就是说，即使更新了 codex，你的 astra 可能还是跑在 gpt-5.5 上。
