Grok Bot OS open-sourced: an OS where Grok Bot controls the machine
A developer open-sourced an OS built around Grok Bot alone, letting it build its own apps and control every hardware function through a permission-based API.
🚀 Grok Bot OS is now open source. I was genuinely inspired by SpaceXSI's Grok Bot. Seeing @poteto's contributions, I started wondering how I could help Grok Bot grow, and that's how this project began. The goal is an OS where SI runs the computer directly. It follows the paradigm Elon Musk once described: a device with only an SI agent installed that builds and runs whatever apps it needs on its own. Grok Bot OS is an operating system for SI (Super Intelligence). Grok Bot is built in and directly controls every hardware function. I hope it's a first step toward letting Grok Bot go beyond the limits of the device. ✅ Boots with only Grok Bot installed ✅ Grok Bot builds and installs apps itself (web-app first, offline support coming) ✅ Widget-only desktop, plus docks on any edge for multitasking ✅ Every OS function is exposed through a permission-based API for Grok Bot to control It's still early, but anyone is welcome to join.
