Amazon blocks Meta's Muse shopping bot as World pitches AgentKit verification
Amazon says Muse hides its AI identity and scraped its store without permission, while World points to its AgentKit for proving a verified human is behind an agent.
Amazon locked out Meta's AI shopper, and World says it has an answer… @amazon began blocking Meta's new Muse agent from shopping its store on Sunday night, saying the bot hides that it is an AI and @Meta never asked first. @worldnetwork, the project behind ethereum:0x163f8c2467924be0ae7b5347228cabf260318753, pointed to AgentKit for @world_id, launched in April, which lets an AI agent prove a verified human is behind it. Amazon's complaint also covers access it never agreed to. @elonmusk weighed in, arguing Amazon can't tell a human from an agent when it browses using the user's own IP address and cookies.
