Google's Gemini 3.5 Pro and Gemini 4 Argon delays draw criticism
The author says Gemini 3.5 Pro never arrived in June and Gemini 4 Argon, announced September 30, is still limited to select users, asking what benchmark wins mean without access.

If there was a leaderboard for most delayed AI models, Google would take first and second place. #1 Gemini 3.5 Pro was supposed to arrive in June. Never came out. Even the web page reads "coming soon". #2 Gemini 4 Argon. was announced on September 30. Even now still only available to select users. In contrast, the "Pro" version of Gemini app is 3.1 Pro, which launched back in February. Google keeps showing us some of the best AI models, then refuses to let us use them. What’s the point of winning benchmarks if nobody gets access?
