Porting an AI code review from GPT to Jev cuts review time from minutes to seconds
The author moved an AI review feature from GPT models to Jev and got the same results in seconds instead of about two minutes, describing Jev as a classifier that works out of the box from a prompt with no training.
Been working on a new tool that has an AI review feature using GPT models. A full review in my testing takes roughly 2 minutes. I just ported the feature to use Jev and I get the same results in seconds not minutes. So many excellent use cases for Jev. The real beauty of this model is that it’s essentially a fancy classifier but unlike traditional classifiers where you would training the model on a very narrow single use case Jev works out of the box with just a prompt. No custom training needed. It lowers the barrier of entry for this kind of task and makes it cheap and accessible to anyone. No expensive model training.
