Developer builds a voice-controlled Mac assistant with Jev

This is insaneeee. A developer built a voice-controlled assistant for his Mac using Jev, a new model from @typesafeai. In a demo he starts speaking "open the notes app and create..." and the app is already open before he's even done talking. Jev isn't built like a chatbot. Instead of generating text, it decides what other software should do, often in a fraction of a second. That's what lets it start acting while you're still mid-sentence. It's not seeing your screen or typing anything itself separate code carries out the actions. Jev's job is just making the call, fast. This is what AI tools should feel like.
