opencodex adds first-party Claude support
The developer-built opencodex tool shipped first-party Claude support, and its author says the experience is smooth enough that they are considering moving their daily driver from Codex to Claude Code.

I built opencodex, and I'm seriously thinking about moving my daily driver to Claude Code. What keeps pushing me: - changes don't sync until I quit and relaunch the Codex app - subagents failing in ways that have nothing to do with the task - half the features only work while the desktop app is open - remote use means going through a clunky app-to-app bridge Meanwhile we just shipped first-party Claude support in opencodex, and it's been surprisingly smooth. Same workflow, different engine, nothing to restart. Didn't expect my own tool to be the thing that makes leaving easy.
