Muse opens connector platform where agents visit apps on users' behalf
The author explains Meta's new muse.ai/platform connectors: developers provide an API, and Muse brings the agent, browser, and user intent, shifting distribution from users opening apps to agents accessing services for them.
META JUST QUIETLY OPENED THE MOST IMPORTANT DOOR IN AI RIGHT NOW. Zuckerberg's post buried inside it: Developers bring the API. Muse brings the agent, the browser, and the context of what the person actually wants. Read that again. The user doesn't visit your app anymore. They ask their agent for what they want, and the agent goes and gets it FROM your service. This flips the entire distribution model that's run the internet since apps existed. You didn't build a growth channel. You built a destination an agent decides to visit on someone's behalf. Connectors are live today at http://muse.ai/platform. The builders who plug in now are the ones who get to define what "being found by an agent" even looks like in their category. Everyone else finds out what that means after it's already decided for them. Follow @cyrilXBT, I'm tracking every agent platform opening up before the room gets crowded.
