Route an agent's small yes/no decisions to Jev, not a cheaper model
Switching to a cheaper model only makes an agent dumber; the better move is to hand the many small yes/no decisions to Jev and keep Opus 5.5 for hard reasoning.

Hot take: Switching to a cheaper model won't fix your AI bill. It'll just make your agent dumber. The problem isn't which model you use. It's WHAT you're asking it to do. Most of an agent's calls aren't hard reasoning. They're small yes or no decisions. Move those to Jev. Keep Opus 5.5 for the hard stuff. Cheaper without getting dumber. How it works 👇
