Having Claude on my work account is honestly the only reason I can build what I build. I'm not a hardcore dev, just someone who knows a bit of Python and JS. But with Claude, I can automate video editing, build little tools to fix my UX, and even speed up local Qwen models without losing quality. It gives everyday builders a massive boost. I get that Anthropic is trying to stop distillation and bad actors. Makes sense. But slamming regular users with bans just for having a VPN on is backwards. If you can build the smartest AI out there, you can build smarter fraud detection instead of relying on blunt regional blocks. I was furious when my personal account got banned on day two after I paid $100, but I've cooled off. I just want to keep building.
