Meta unveils Muse Charm, a keychain-sized personal AI assistant device
Meta introduced Muse, a dedicated keychain device for real-time voice conversations that can browse and place orders for users, shipping in December, alongside a just-patched zero-day in the Muse macOS app.

🚨 Meta Unveils “Muse Charm,” a Pocket-Sized AI Agent That Fits on a Keychain Meta has introduced Muse Charm, a small dedicated device designed to give users direct access to its Muse personal AI agent without opening a phone or app. Mark Zuckerberg described it as a “joyful little device” for talking to Muse and said Meta plans to ship it in December. What makes this interesting: * Muse Charm brings Meta’s personal AI agent into a dedicated physical device * Users can talk to Muse through a real-time voice interface * The device is designed to fit in a pocket or attach to a keychain * Muse can already perform agentic tasks such as browsing, working across connected services and completing actions on behalf of the user * This is another sign that AI assistants are moving beyond browser tabs and smartphones into always-available physical hardware ⚠️ Security Note: The timing is notable. Meta recently patched a zero-day vulnerability affecting the Muse macOS app that could allow malicious software already present on a device to manipulate the agent’s transcription processing. There is currently NO evidence that Muse Charm itself has been compromised. But as AI agents gain cameras, microphones, persistent access and the ability to take actions on users’ behalf, the security model around agentic hardware becomes increasingly important.
