Single-file Minecraft prompt: MiniMax M3.1 Flash loses to Opus 5.5

The same prompt asked Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, MiniMax M3.1 Flash and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash to build a single-file Minecraft; the author picked Opus as winner, while DeepSeek shipped with no textures at all.

Yesterday MiniMax M3.1 Flash surprised me, Opus-level 1986 Miami for almost free. So today I made it harder: build me a Minecraft game in one HTML file. Same prompt for Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, MiniMax and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. DeepSeek went full retro, no textures at all 😅 And the winner this time… Opus. Watch the water at the end. Which one would you play?
