Opus 5.5, Astra and Jev split roles: build, review, decide
Separating the reviewer from the builder and letting Jev break deadlocks keeps Jev from writing code and stops a model from grading its own work.
opus 5.5 + astra + jev... I still can't believe nobody wiring them like this yet. my first version cost me a whole night and i shipped the bug anyway. opus wrote the patch, opus reviewed it, it passed. a model reviewing its own diff is just agreeing with itself in two different fonts. so i took the reviewer away from it > astra reviews, and never sees the plan, the reasoning or the chat > just the diff and a running app to break > night one it flagged 3 things the builder swore were fine, 2 were real > when they deadlock they swap seats, astra builds, opus reviews > still stuck, jev decides, and if jev can't call it the run stops and asks me jev writes no code, it only picks, nothing in the loop grades its own work how i built the wall between them is not a secret, it’s just skill: being patient and watching.
