A day of passport renewal, navigation and parking handled by Grok Bot
The author describes how Grok Bot filled in most of a passport renewal form, created a calendar appointment with the office address so the car could navigate itself, and paid for parking from a photo.
It’s actually insane to me that FSD does all of the driving for me and Grok @bot handles all my day to day things. Today I had to renew my passport - for starters Grok Bot filled in the majority of the renewal form for me which saved me a ton of time. Then I hopped into the car to go to the passport office and because Grok Bot made a calendar appointment with the passport office address I just had to press “Start Self-Driving” no fiddling with the nav. When I arrived I had to pay for parking - so I just sent a photo of my license place and the parking details to Grok Bot and it handled it all for me. It’s surprising how quickly all of this feels “normal” to me. Having a car drive itself and having AI do day to day tasks - it’s something I couldn’t have imagined 5 years ago, but it’s very much a reality today and I can’t imagine what it’ll look like in 5 more years.
