Same 3D prompts: M3.1 Flash costs $0.19 for three scenes vs $13.83 for Opus 5.5
Running the same 3D prompts from an Oct 6 challenge one-shot with no fixes, the Eiffel Tower came out worse than M3 while the fish and cat were solid; three scenes cost $0.19 versus $13.83 for Claude Opus 5.5.

MiniMax just shipped M3.1 Flash: 3x faster and 70% cheaper than M3, they say. Same 3D prompts as my Oct 6 challenge. One shot, no fixes. Eiffel Tower: a blinding pillar of light. M3 did better. Fish and chonky cat: solid. 3 scenes: $0.19. Claude Opus 5.5: $13.83.
