Meta Q3 earnings: Muse personal agents hit 10M users in six weeks
Meta's earnings call revealed over 10 million people in the US and Canada have set up Muse personal agents, with shopping the top use case and Plaid and Stripe adjusting for unexpected volume.
Zuckerberg and $META just showed the whole market not to doubt them. The actual numbers were impressive: • Revenue: $64.6B (+26% YoY) • Advertising Revenue: $63.1B (+26% YoY) • ADJUSTED EPS: $7.40 (which would be a 25% beat) • Daily Active People: 3.64B (+3% YoY) • Ad Impressions: +10% YoY (At their scale, INSANE) • Average Price Per Ad: +14% YoY A very strong quarter, with continued growth. Now for the earnings call: "In just a month and a half, more than 10 million in the US and Canada have set up Muse personal agents." The #1 use case for Muse has been shopping; Zuckerberg made 2 massive statements relating to it: • Plaid, a payment system with a connector with Muse, said that they hadn't seen activity like they are seeing with their connector with any other service before... WOW. • Meta had to work with Stripe to raise credit limits because NO ONE expected the volume they were receiving. Plans to monetize Muse right now are: • Small transaction fees from shopping done via Muse • Users can pay for tokens or a more advanced version if for business or other uses. Zuckerberg also said Muse can potentially generate higher revenue per user than their family apps: -> They make around$100 annually per user on family apps -> Users on Muse for shopping are spending ~$200 on average; scalability will be EVERYTHING.
