Hands-on with four personal agents: Manus, Muse, Grok bot and Dots

The author compares the agents: Manus handled a complex dataset best, Muse opens a computer inside the chat, Grok bot suits simple tasks but mixes up context in deeper analysis, and Dots has not been tried yet.

my honest review of ai agents 1/ manus I pointed it at a complex dataset & it outperformed every other agent I tested it aggregated the data, tabulated the output, explained what it found & even suggested what I could look up next 2/ muse agent by meta give Muse a task & it opens a computer right inside the chat. you literally watch it navigate webpages & work thru the task it can execute complex workflows to a certain extent, but still makes mistakes once deeper reasoning is required 3/ grokbot Grok is good for simple day-to-day tasks, but once you give it a task that requires deeper analysis, it tends to mix up context & return outputs you still have to interpret I call it “chaotic reverse intelligence” > dots by openai haven’t used it yet, will come back to this. these AI agents can already handle complex tasks, the bigger challenge is running loops intelligently over time.
