Turning esports sentiment into tradable signals with Jev
After watching Jev's Dota/CS2 demo, which read 3,800+ posts in 24 seconds and produced 45k typed decisions per player, the author notes that pre-match information leaks early and asks when it can be tested on real positions.
THIS HITS PAINFULLY TRUE "A match is often decided not on the field but days before it in the locker room, on the plane, at a late-night party" this is exactly why I've entered a position on an event so many times and then watched the price move the other way just an hour before the match, when the reason had already been sitting in someone's post two days earlier. Watched the Jev demo on Dota/CS2 in 24 seconds it read 3800+ posts and already produced 45k+ typed decisions per player, broken down into things like "roster updates," "bootcamp context," "media coverage," and even a confidence score for each signal. This is exactly the feeling when you're trading on a market and you know someone else already saw this info before you except now you can be that someone. @iamigorekk when can we actually test this on real positions instead of just watching the demo?
