Google AI Pro trials don't unlock Gemini 4 Argon, user notes
A user points out that only paid Google AI Pro plans get Gemini 4 Argon, so 6- or 12-month trials bundled with a Pixel or Googlebook don't count, and the same applies to YouTube Premium Lite.

Do you know why they say "paid" Google AI Pro ? If you're on a Google AI Pro *trial*, you don't count. Got a Pixel or a Googlebook this year with 6 or 12 months of trial? No Gemini 4 Argon for you. You don't pay, so you don't matter to them :) Same with YouTube Premium Lite: you only get it if you actually pay for AI Pro. A trial that isn't the plan you're trialing. How fun...
