Jev routes decisions while Grok Bot only executes
The agent is split in two: Jev sorts incoming events into ignore, log, execute or human lanes by route, urgency, evidence, safety and value, and only one lane calls a generative model.
JEV ENGINEERS ARE SPLITTING ONE AGENT INTO 2 JOBS: JEV DECIDES, GROK BOT EXECUTES an incoming event doesn’t need an executor first. Jev checks route, urgency, evidence, safety and value before expensive work starts. messages / repo events / tools → Jev → 4 lanes: ignore / log / execute / human each result is a typed decision with a score and next action, so software can move immediately instead of asking another model to interpret free-form text. only 1 of those 4 lanes needs generative work. that’s where Grok Bot enters, while low-value events disappear early and unclear cases move to review. the number i’d watch isn’t tokens per call anymore. it’s how many events never need a model call at all.
