TypeSafe's own evaluation: Jev is 193x faster and 444x cheaper
A reading of TypeSafe's own workflow evaluation data, which shows Jev evaluating multiple bounded decisions in parallel and charging only for input tokens, making decisions cheap enough to embed in ordinary code.
193.6X FASTER. 444.6X CHEAPER. Those are the results from TypeSafe’s own workflow evaluation of Jev. Not a universal benchmark. Not every task. The company itself says this is probably near the high end. But the mechanism behind the numbers is fucking important. A normal LLM generates words one token at a time. Jev evaluates multiple bounded decisions against the same state in parallel. TypeSafe currently lists it at $0.042 per million input tokens with no output-token charge. That changes what becomes economically possible. You can inspect every agent action. Score every support ticket. Route every request before paying for a frontier model. The breakthrough is not simply “AI got faster.” Decision-making became cheap enough to hide inside ordinary code.
