OpenAI's new assistant product is named Dots while an individual assistant is called Dot, partly because the dot.com domain was acquired by xAI in July and redirects to the Grok Bot download page.

OpenAI 昨天发布的 AI 助手 Dots，名字把不少人绕晕了，因为产品叫 Dots，但说到单个助手时，官方又叫它 Dot。而背后其中的一个原因，当你输入 https://dot.com 这个域名，会跳转到马斯克自家 AI 助手 Grok Bot 的下载页，它们在今年 7 月获取到了这个域名，成功截胡。
