Haiku 5.5 benchmarked against unreleased Gemini 4 Argon
A blogger says Anthropic's Haiku 5.5 at max effort is more intelligent than GPT-6 Sol and Opus 4.8 and nearly twice as good as Google's current flagship Pro model, while everyone waits for Gemini 4 Argon.

Haiku 5.5 is Anthropic's fast, super cheap, tiny model. In "max" effort, it's more intelligent than OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol at high (a model from 20 days ago). Better than Opus 4.8 (the 1st truly agentic model) and 5x better than GPT-4o, the one some people were falling in love and creating AI boyfriends with. It's also almost 2x better than Google's current flagship Pro model (while we wait for 4 Argon).
