Meta launches personal AI agent Muse with 100M free tokens per week
Muse is available to US users 18 and older and can act across apps and the open web for email, calendar, forms, bookings and purchases, with each user getting an isolated Linux Secure VM and a separate Sentinel agent approving every outgoing action.
$META JUST LAUNCHED THEIR PERSONAL AI AGENT: MUSE - Free for up to 100 million tokens per week. - Subscriptions only for people who burn more compute than that. Here's the main points: 1. A personal AI agent for US users 18+. Acts across your apps and the open web. Email, calendar, forms, bookings, purchases. 2. Every user gets a Muse Secure VM. An isolated Linux machine with its own browser, CPU, memory and storage. 3. A separate Sentinel agent approves every action or piece of data leaving that VM. Enforced at the kernel level. 4. Passwords sit in Secure Credential Storage. The model can't read them. Muse asks before purchases or sending email. 5. Model, harness, deterministic code and an ensemble of classifiers work together to catch prompt injections and quarantine them before they hit the context window. 6. Bug bounty ran privately through development. Public as of today, payouts scaled to demonstrated impact. 7. Stripe Link built into checkout. Shop Pay and 1Password coming. Seems security was a big consideration here. No big sustained move in the stock price. Really bullish on the native Whatsapp integration - the ecosystem is the biggest value prop here. Meta has one of the best (if not the best) distribution networks in the world. $META
